The Advantages of the Miles & More Blue Card

Like the more comprehensive Miles & More Gold Business Card, the more affordable Blue Card also offers several benefits for frequent travelers. Below, we've summarized the key information about bonuses, payment options, insurance, rewards, and miles.

Collecting Miles

With the Miles & More Blue Credit Card Business, you collect bonus miles with every business expense. Whether online shopping, travel abroad, or local payments – you earn 1 mile for every €1 spent. Notably, your collected miles do not expire, allowing you to redeem them at your convenience without worrying about a deadline. With selected premium partners, you can even earn more than one mile per euro spent. The current partners can be found under "Premium Partners" on the Miles & More Online Shopping site.

Additionally, all Miles & More Blue customers earn 2 miles per euro spent at the Worldshop and 4 miles per euro spent at Avis car rentals (with a minimum of 1000 miles per rental at Avis).

Redeeming Miles with MilesPay

The Miles & More Blue Credit Card Business offers attractive benefits for everyday payments. If you don't want to use your collected miles for flights, you can convert them into cash value. With the MilesPay service, you can use your collected miles for purchases anywhere Mastercard is accepted. The process is simple:

  1. Register your Miles & More credit card in the Miles & More app under MilesPay. For successful first-time registration, you receive a one-time bonus of 500 miles.

  2. Before paying your bill, open MilesPay and select the number of miles you want to use. MilesPay can be used for purchases starting at €10.

  3. The corresponding euro amount will be credited back to your credit card account.

Business travelers often value good travel insurance coverage. While the Miles & More Blue Card does not include insurance as the Gold Card does, travel insurance can be conveniently added for a small fee. The "Travel Security" package offers good coverage for €2.90 per month, including baggage loss and damage insurance, travel inconvenience insurance, and travel accident insurance. New subscribers to the package receive a welcome bonus of 100 miles.

Coverage of Travel Insurance:

  • Baggage loss insurance covers losses or damage up to €2000. Note that all insurance coverage applies only if the trip is paid for with the Miles & More Card.

  • Travel inconvenience insurance provides compensation up to €500, covering expenses such as meals or accommodation if a flight is delayed by more than 4 hours.

  • Accident insurance applies worldwide, regardless of the mode of transport (plane, bus, or car). It offers €100,000 in the event of death and up to €200,000 in the event of disability caused by an accident.

Flexible and Secure Payment Options

The Miles & More Blue Credit Card Business offers a wide range of flexible payment options, ensuring secure and convenient transactions. These include the online card account, compatibility with Google Pay and Apple Pay, the Miles & More Credit Card app, and comprehensive security features such as Card Control and contactless Mastercard functionality.

Additionally, the Mastercard Identity Check provides extra security for online transactions. These options allow you to manage your finances according to your needs and shop securely.
