Opening a Holvi business account: It’s that easy!
A Holvi account can be opened both online and in the app. The account opening process is completed in a few steps:
Download the Holvi app or open the website
Click on the “Open account” button

Once you have opened your account, you can log in on the website. The login is found on the homepage in the top right corner next to "Open account." To log in and gain full access to your finances, you need your email address and password.
Debit or credit Card? - Discover the provider’s card models
Holvi essentially offers two card models: debit cards and credit cards. With the debit card, deductions are made directly from the business account, allowing you to track your expenses in real-time. This means you can only spend as much money as is available in the account.
With the Holvi credit card, you enjoy more financial freedom, as you can make payments within a credit limit of up to €5,000. This card allows you to bridge short-term payment gaps and flexibly decide when to repay the amounts. Both the Holvi debit cards and credit cards come with several tariffs.

Fees and costs at a glance
The account management fees vary with the different card models. There are three tariffs with different service levels for both debit and credit cards. For debit cards, you can choose between Holvi Lite for €9.00, Holvi Pro for €15.00, and Holvi Pro+ for €18.00. These are monthly costs plus VAT.
For credit cards, the monthly fee depends on your chosen repayment plan. If repayment is made in the next month, a monthly card fee of €6.00 applies, while repayment in 3 installments incurs a fee of €9.00, and in 6 installments, the fee is €12.00. Additionally, all Holvi cards have fees for cash withdrawals, foreign currency transactions, and replacement cards.
DATEV interface for direct connection to your tax office
You can connect Holvi with DATEV to digitize your bookkeeping. Your transactions are automatically synchronized with the Holvi business account, allowing your tax office to book transactions up-to-date. Additionally, you can grant your accountant access to initiate payments, such as settling invoices or paying salaries.

Where can I pay with the Holvi card?
You can use the Holvi Card wherever Mastercard is accepted. Therefore, you can use the card worldwide in numerous online shops and physical stores. Note that the debit card may sometimes be declined for car rentals and hotel bookings. In such cases, the credit card would be a better choice.
Can I deposit cash with the Holvi card?
Currently, you cannot make cash deposits with Holvi. Checks are also not accepted. All incoming transactions should be bank transfers.
Where can I withdraw money?
You can withdraw cash from your Holvi business account at any time. Simply find an ATM that accepts Mastercard, and you can withdraw your desired amount.
Are payments with Apple Pay & Google Pay possible?
The Holvi Mastercard can be linked with Apple Pay and Google Pay, allowing you to make contactless payments with your smartphone. To add your card to Apple Pay or Google Pay, open the Wallet app and tap the plus symbol. Alternatively, you can open the Holvi app and follow its instructions.
Canceling a Holvi account in a few steps
The Holvi account can only be canceled by the person who opened it. If you wish to close your account, please follow these steps:
Log in to Holvi
Click on your profile in the top right corner
Select "Pricing model"
Click the "Close account" button
You will then be guided step-by-step through the account closure process. If you still have a balance in your account, you can transfer it to another account in advance. Alternatively, Holvi can transfer the remaining balance to you; you just need to provide your new IBAN.

If you have questions or problems with your Holvi card, you can contact the provider’s customer service. They are available via contact form, email, and live chat. Service hours in Germany and Austria are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The Holvi Business Card offers the latest security standards. You can lock and unlock the card within seconds via the app. Online payments are particularly secure thanks to 3D Secure (Mastercard Identity Check), two-factor authentication, and SSL encryption. Legally, you are also on the safe side. Holvi has a banking license from the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, allowing the provider to offer its financial services within the European Economic Area. Additionally, your deposits are insured up to €100,000.
